Our story

Hello! I’m Myriam, the founder of My Little World, a former lawyer and travel blogger (@trannetastravels). Half French half Egyptian, I found my calling in creating things for kids. Keep scrolling for our full story :)

My Little World was born in November 2020, driven by a passion to bring locally produced products to your little ones. Inspired by my firstborn, Nayla, we began experimenting with creating high-quality, locally made baby products that were often found abroad but not yet available in the Egyptian retail market at the time.

Inspired by my firstborn, fueled and strengthen by my second, and completed by my third.

Each one of my children has shaped My Little World in their own special way. Nayla sparked the idea, Maya my second little adventurer pushed it further, and our baby boy Zayn keeps us rooted in what truly matters—family, love, and everyday joy. Hence the company's name Mayaya.

Our mission is to build a conscious and sustainable business that directly supports our local community, especially in the challenging times the world is facing. We are dedicated to working with artisans to create timeless products for your little ones—and everything we make is first tested in our own home. We like to say, "from our dining room (where the magic happens) to your living room."

We take pride in using natural materials whenever possible, both in our products and our packaging, to help protect our environment. With every purchase, you help us give back to our community. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to pay school fees for over 100 students and provide them with essential school supplies at the start of each year, among other initiatives. Our goal is to continue helping the underprivileged communities within Egypt by supporting both the artisans we employ and the charitable initiatives we fund.

Thank you for being a part of our beautiful journey, for supporting my small business, and for giving me the chance to do what I love while witnessing my little ones grow every day.

With lots of love, from one mother to another <3
