Our story

Hello! I’m Myriam, the founder of My Little World, a former lawyer and travel blogger (@trannetastravels). Half French half Egyptian, I found my calling in creating things for kids. Keep scrolling for our full story :)

 

My Little World was born in November 2020 with the aim of bringing locally produced products to your little ones.

Inspired by my first born ‘Nayla’, we started experimenting to offer mothers and parents locally produced items, we focused on baby products that are usually found abroad and that were not present in the Egyptian retail market at the time.

Our mission is to present a conscious and sustainable business by including the local community in these hard times the world is facing. Keeping our artisans in mind while creating products for your little ones.

At My Little World we work directly with artisans to create timeless products for our little ones and your little ones. Everything we make is tested first in our home. We like to call it from our dining room (that’s where all the magic happens) to your living rooms. We also make sure to look after our environment by trying to always use natural materials in our products where possible as well as our packaging.

With every purchase made from My Little World, we give back to our community by giving a percentage to a different charity or initiative monthly. You make this possible.. Thanks to your contribution we were able to pay for the school fees of more than 100 students as well as provide them with the needed things for school in the beginning of the school year amongst others. It is important to us to support our local community, whether it being by the artisans we employ who create the beautiful pieces that reach you, or by widening our reach through the giving back initiative we are dedicated to help the under privileged communities within our beautiful country.

So thank you for helping us make this happen, thank you for being part of our beautiful community and thank you for supporting my small business and giving me the chance to continue doing what I love while being able to watch my little ones grow day after day and not missing out on any milestones.
